To Love Is Our Greatest Power

To love is our greatest power

Love is our emotional vitamin that fills us with vitality and strength for life. That is why we say that she is our superpower. It strengthens our growth and our ability to walk upright through life.

Who hasn’t already been in love and felt up to everything? Who wouldn’t find it easier to cope with life after a hug? Who hasn’t felt the need to say, “ I love you and I trust you”  or to hear it in order to move forward with their endeavors?

We have to love and be loved. That is something fundamental for us. We don’t talk about having a partner, but rather loving people who mean something to us, to have us. Because it is love that holds us when we are about to fall.

“I love you enough to walk on the dry leaves this evening.
I love you enough to take a walk with you and talk about love as we kick pebbles.
I love you enough to laugh hysterically, get drunk on nothing, and stroll the streets without rushing.

I love you enough to go with you to the places I go to often and tell you that I sit there and think of you.
I love you enough to listen to your laughter all night.
I love you enough never to let you go

I love you in a certain way, in the old way, with my soul and without looking back. “

Love and intimacy, two sources of strength

Admiration and affection are sources of strength. Affection, intimacy, and deep concern for the well-being of a loved one create the emotional bonds we form with one another.

According to Maslow, love and relationships are part of our basic needs for security and belonging. We need them to climb our increasingly higher pyramid and achieve self-knowledge, trust, respect, success and spontaneity.

At the end of the day , our love is our north, to which we align ourselves and which helps us to find our way in life.

To love is our great power on all levels, including the brain. Indeed, as we have mentioned elsewhere, it is essential to understand the neurochemical changes that occur through feelings and emotions.

Although we usually see our heart as the center of love, we should know that it actually arises in the brain through neurochemical processes and neural connections. Serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine are produced in our nervous system. They rule over our emotions and our behavior.

The unrestricted support of the feeling of love, on the other hand, seems to come from the gray mass of the midbrain. The pain center is also located there at the same time. This explains why when we love someone we need nothing in return but the affection that person gives us.

In short, love for others is largely responsible for our performance at all levels. Therefore, love will help us to achieve whatever we set out to do. Walking by the side of a loved one is always a guarantee of success and well-being. Because love is our greatest power.
