Sentient-thinking: Do not separate mind and feeling

Eduardo Galeano believed that “the words that tell us the truth are feeling-thinking”  and that the best people are those who are able to think by feeling and to feel by thinking. This led him to the following statement: I like feeling-thinking people who do not separate the mind from the heart. Those who feel and think at the same time. Without separating the head from the body, or the emotions from the mind. “

As much as we interfere, we act with our heart by following the logic of our minds and vice versa. We are one whole, think and feel at the same time, and so we come closer to reality.

Controlling what we feel is necessary in order to remember what we deserve

Feel-think is how we relate to our love, friendship, disappointment, joy and our angels and demons. We cannot break into pieces or separate our feelings from our thoughts.

When we find ourselves in a complicated relationship, we cannot let our feelings guide us alone. Sometimes we need to put some of what we feel aside so that we can put more emphasis on what we deserve.

Despite all of this, our feelings and emotions influence every decision and every event in our life – and it is good that that is the case, otherwise we would just be robots.

Sensitive-thinking sensitivity, the basis for empathy

There are people with more or less feeling-thinking sensitivity. There are people who think and act with the belief that if you are sensitive and pay attention to your emotions, you will be overwhelmed by the circumstances in today’s world.

And that’s why it is necessary to reflect. In order to feel alive and at the same time go with the flow, it is important to think and feel. Should we raise children if we always prefer logic? How should we love when we attach greater importance to the mind?

Many believe that putting the mind above our emotions is a sign of strength, and that our feelings and sensitivity are signs of weakness and frailty. Nothing could be further from the truth: the combination of these two things is what makes us great.

Maintaining a feeling-thinking philosophy is a way of embracing life and being who we really are. In fact, feeling-thinking people are the ones who have the most charisma and the greatest talent for connecting with those around them.

A feel-thinking person is a balanced person who offers others trust, good intentions, emotional intelligence, power and strength so that they can spread their wings and let their goals be unbridled.

Feel-minded people are the ones who best understand the importance of the small details when it comes to connecting with the world. They better understand that our lives lack meaning when we no longer have the connection that unites us and makes us respect one another.

“We act with the heart, but we also use our minds, and when we combine the two in this way we are sentient-thinking.”

Celebrating the marriage of mind and heart is the basis for our well-being

We must thank the time that has shown us that good things can happen anytime, sometimes in the hand of emotions and sometimes hugging our minds.

And that’s why it’s so important not to separate logic from emotions, because both are necessary for us to understand the world and what is happening to us, as well as to make decisions.

A feeling-thinking mind enables us to collaborate with those around us and connect with others to make relationships more satisfying. However, we don’t always know how to keep things in balance.

A good social brain is one that balances mind and emotion because neither is better, worse, or superior. Without emotional sensitivity, we cannot understand a world that is mind-built, and vice versa.

In reality, thinking without feeling, feeling without thinking is like seeing without seeing, hearing without hearing, living without loving. And it is just as impossible as the existence of a perfect and honest laugh without the feeling of true joy.
