The thing that has probably made the biggest impression on me is that it is you who keep me moving year after year. You make me just thank you for reminding me of the hope and innocence of new beginnings. For seeing me as a fighter and an example when all I see is a ball of fear.

Thank you for being my inspiration and encouragement, no matter what steps I take. Even if I make mistakes, I am fine because I know that you will never leave my side. I love that you understand that mistakes can be corrected and that there is no need to be washed away.

Our lives are interlinked. Even if our paths are parallel, they will cross again. Maybe we’ll go through a linear map adding things that unite us and bring us closer together.

Thank you for teaching me that two people are a whole world. And that a person is only half himself. And that’s something that contradicts any kind of math. Because the reality of friendship is something that only friends can understand and explain.

Consistency holds friendships together. In an ever-changing universe, constant support like yours is priceless. And there is no obstacle that makes us doubt our covenant. It’s almost like we’re playing a game of craps and we’re lucky enough to double-roll so we can win.

Thank you for reminding me that only those who keep pushing themselves a little can leave their limits behind. For teaching me that, regardless of whether we change jobs, houses or cities, the bond that binds us always remains strong. Because there are no limits in our friendship. It remains constant despite all the variables that the present represents. It’s an enduring friendship.

But most of all, I want to thank you for making the best version of myself. For helping me put my pieces together. When I was only able to bandage them. I’m better because of everything you did and all the advice you gave me. I feel better because you listen to me and then tell me the harsh truth so I can respond and avoid getting hurt again.

Most of all, I feel better because you taught me that when I was selfish and made up my mind to go alone, it took me away from you. I now understand that my own successes are not the same as those that I have been helped with. Thanks to you, I have learned that what is ours is more valuable than what is only mine.

Remember that the difference between wanting to do something and being able to do it is believing in yourself. Realize that it is normal to have doubts. And remember that you can count on me and I’ll keep your dreams going for a while so they don’t fall off. Especially when you feel like your strength is decreasing.
